There are two choices.
You could spend your life complaining about how short life is and about how there’s never any time to get anything done, or you could spend your life celebrating how great life is, the talents you have, and what you can do with the time you’ve got.
Admission: I spend quite enough time griping about how busy I am.
Always make time for a walk. I like to go down to the creek when it’s windy and cloudy, and stand by the water enjoying the knowledge that rain is coming. I used to also climb trees when there’s a high wind, but if you get spooked easily, *ahem*, don’t try that. (Little is more terrifying than the feeling of a thick, strong maple trunk being swung about by the wind with you sitting on a branch hanging on for dear life.)
But getting back to the point, being outside reminds me that if I get back to that list of mine and start checking off tasks (try Todoist for this, so satisfying to click on the task and see it disappear), there’s so much else to do when I’m done!
Speaking of having two choices…
When faced with the impossible and the unthinkable, choose the impossible.
Because nothing really is impossible.
“And Jesus looking upon them said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”
-Matthew 19:26

Well stated, Benita. Thanks for the reminder! Love the Tolkien quote/picture too. Great post!
